After the mixed public response to its Windows Phone 7.5 Mango handsets - Optimus 7 and Quantum, LG is making its final push with another Windows Mango smartphone codenamed "Fantasy".

It may be recalled that the leaked photos of the phone appeared in July last. One close look at the freshly leaked photos from an XDA- Developers forum user in Romania indicates that LG is all set to release the smartphone in the near future.

The images reveal the phone featuring a 4-inch touchscreen display built on the IPS panel technology. Besides, it also adds a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front to support video calling and a 5-megapixel camera on the rear for regular video recording.

The front panel has "Back, Windows and Search" buttons. The phone is expected to support GPS, Bluetooth and 16GB onboard storage, besides adding support for HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.

In all likelihood, LG Fantasy is expected to be launched at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January or at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.
