LG has released an OTA update for the G4 smartphone with software version build V10b. XDA

LG has just released a new firmware via OTA update for the international model of the G4 (H815).

Weighing in at 180.05MB, the update is based on Android 5.1 version and build number LMY47D, and increases the software version to V10b. Folks at XDA forum are reported to have received the V10b build.

"I could confirm the 10b update arrived right now on my H815 EU," said senior member, salvatore94.

To check the availability of the OTA on your European international variant, head over to Settings>> General>> About Phone>> Software update.

According to those who have the new build, the performance seems to be better than before but the touchscreen issue still persists.

Those who are experiencing the touchscreen issue can try toggling the Force GPU Rendering option under developer settings. In case of extreme lags, disable dual window and check if that is helpful. Also clear apps via recent switcher, along with using Greenify to hibernate apps.
