Fast and Furious makes box office history

Fast and Furious 7, aka Paul Walker's final film in the car-racing franchise, has made American box office history.

The James Wan directed film, which paid a touching tribute to the late actor who died in a car crash in November 2013, raked in an impressive $143.6m (£96.3m) over the Easter bank holiday, making it the ninth biggest opening of all time.

Phil Contrino, vice president and chief analyst at BoxOffice.com, described the feat as bittersweet adding that Walker's death "made this movie more intriguing for people who hadn't seen some of the instalments.

"It raised awareness and its success is a tribute to him," he said.

Kim Kardashian considers using a surrogate

And over in the world of reality TV Kim Kardashian's mother has suggested that she enlist her sister's help after doctors encouraged her to use a surrogate to carry her second baby.

Kris Jenner claimed that older sister Kourtney Kardashian, who already has three children of her own, could be the ideal candidate to help Kim with her fertility issues.

You may recall that Kim and rapper husband Kanye West have been struggling to give their 21-month-old North a sibling, due to a complication with Kim's uterus from her first pregnancy.

But it looks like Kim may still need to warm to the idea of surrogacy.

"To have a surrogate is really scary to me. I don't want one. I wouldn't dare ask anyone to do that for me," she said during a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Beyoncé and Jay Z celebrate seven years of marriage

And finally Beyoncé has celebrated her seven year wedding anniversary by serenading her husband Jay-Z.

Queen B stunned fans by releasing the short clip on Instagram of her belting out her new track Die With You while playing the piano. Complete with cap worn backwards and minimal make-up, the star smiles as she performs.

She released a simple heartfelt music video to accompany the tune. Unfortunately the couple's daughter Blue Ivy didn't make a cameo.
