Rihanna pulls out of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Fans will be sad to learn that Rihanna will no longer be performing at the upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The pop superstar had been set to take to the stage for the second time but has had to pull out. People magazine reports RiRi wants to focus on finishing her highly anticipated new album, Anti, which is scheduled for a December release.

Event organisers have announced Ellie Goulding, whose new album Delirium comes out on 6 November, will join The Weeknd and Selena Gomez on stage instead. The annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show takes place on 10 November and is set to air on 8 December.

Louis Walsh to return to The X Factor?

And over in the world of reality TV, it looks like Louis Walsh is returning to The X Factor after paying Simon Cowell £20,000 for the privilege.

The music manager was booted off the judging panel to make way for Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. But the change in the judging line up has not improved on the show's ratings; instead, they have plummeted by a million viewers since the last series.

Walsh paid for an opportunity to return to the show during a charity auction at the Music Industry Trust Awards on 2 November. But do not get too excited. Fans may not even get to see him back on the panel because he simply paid for a chance to visit during rehearsals.

The news follows claims that Walsh will join the show as a fifth judge separate to the others. Now the live shows are in full swing, anything could happen.

Menu card from Kate Middleton's wedding sells at auction

And finally, a royal fan has bagged a memento from Kate Middleton and Prince William's fairy tale wedding. Hello! magazine reports a menu card from a guest of the royal nuptials sold at the Nate D Sanders Auctions on 29 October for £810.51. The ivory cardstock menu, which includes a floral green border and gold, features what appears to be a coffee or food stain towards the bottom.

The royal wedding took place on 29 April 2011. On their big day, guests were served a dinner that included marinated South Uist salmon, Berkshire honey ice cream, sherry trifle and chocolate parfait.
