Luis Suarez
Suarez scored four to down Norwich.

22:08: What a night in the Premier League. Be sure to set your recorders for Match of the day tonight. No doubt over where the main headlines come out of though and that is at Old Trafford where Everton claimed victory for the first time since 1992 and Manchester United's title aspirations took a huge hit.

Elsewhere, there was no lack of drama. Sunderland and Chelsea shared a seven goal thriller at the Stadium of Light in which the visitors prevailed while Aston Villa inflicted upon Southampton their third successive defeat.

Luis Suarez produced the outstanding performance of the season in scoring four times to beat Norwich City. Swansea overcame Newcastle and leaders Arsenal saw off Hull City.

Tottenham needed a late Lewis Holtby goal to beat Fulham in Rene Meulesteen's first game in charge. Manchester City swatted away their away-day blues by beating West Bromwich Albion while finally Stoke City drew with Cardiff City.

That's all we've got time for on this IBTimes live blog. We return on Friday for live coverage of the World Cup draw from Brazil. Until then, goodbye.

Goal: West Bromwich Albion 2-3 Manchester City (Victor Anichebe)

22:04: Pantilimon turns away Berahino's effort at the Hawthorns but there will no comeback here. City will run out winners. Just two minutes left.

21:57: Very scrappy but it won't take the gloss of their win as Kolarov attempts a clearance from a Vydra cross and it instead hits Pantilimon and goes into an empty net.

Goal: West Bromwich Albion 1-3 Manchester City (Costel Pantilimon own goal)

21:52: Tottenham hold out at Craven Cottage but they almost allowed their lead to slip as Fulham struck the post. Important win for AVB and a great performance from Rene Meulesteen's men.

21:47: All over at the Hawthorns. Kolarov wins a penalty after a foul by Yacob and Yaya Toure takes full advantage from the spot, sending Myhill the wrong way.

Goal: West Bromwich Albion 0-3 Manchester City (Yaya Toure)

Penalty to Manchester City

21:43: So full time across the 7:45pm kick-offs and the drama speaks for itself but let us not forget the two late kick-offs and Tottenham have truend it around at Craven Cottage. Lewis Holtby has netted his maiden Premier League goals with a splendid strike from 20 yards.

Goal: Fulham 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur (Lewis Holtby)

21:34: Don't know where to turn at the moment. A thriller everywhere you look. both Sunderland and Manchester United looking for late goals.

Goal: Liverpool 5-1 Norwich City (Raheem Sterling)

Goal: Fulham 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur (Vlad Chiriches)

Goal: Sunderland 3-4 Chelsea (Phil Bardsley)

21:30: Goals in waves during the back end of the 7:45pm kicks off and most crucially the deadlock has been broken at Old Trafford. Miralles hits the bar from a free-kick but United can't clear sufficiently and Lukaku crosses and Bryan Oviedo tucks home.

Goal: Manchester United 0-1 Everton (Bryan Oviedo)

Goal: Sunderland 2-4 Chelsea (Phil Bardsley own goal)

Goal: Swansea City 3-0 Newcastle United (Jonjo Shelvy)

Goal: Liverpool 4-1 Norwich City (Bradley Johnson)

21:25: Absolutely shocking challenge from Marouane Fellaini at Old Trafford. Big boot into James McCarthy's mid-drift. Horrible stuff.

Goal: Southampton 2-3 Aston Villa (Fabian Delph)

21:20: Free-kick, 25 yards out, so naturally Luis Suarez puts it into the top corner. Turning into one of the great Premier League performances this.

Goal: Liverpool 4-0 Norwich City (Luis Suarez)

Goal: Fulham 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur (Ashkan Dejagah)

21:15: What a chance for Everton! Substitute Gerard Delofeu goes through on the right of the penalty area but shoots weakly straight at De Gea. Chances a aplenty for United now Januzaj is denied by Howard. From a corner Evra is denied by Howard, Welbeck hits the bar from the rebound and from the resulting cross Wayne Rooney blazes over.

Goal: Swansea City 2-0 Newcastle United (Jonjo Shelvy)

Goal: Southampton 2-2 Aston Villa (Paulo Osvaldo)

Goal: Southampton 1-2 Aston Villa (Libor Kozak)

21:07: Chelsea take the lead for the second time at the Stadium of Light, and once again Eden Hazard takes centre stage. Hazard exchanges passes with Lampard, delays his shot, before banging the ball past Mannone. Brilliant.

Goal: Sunderland 2-3 Chelsea (Eden Hazard)

21:04: Frustrations boiling over at Old Trafford as Wayne Rooney is booked for what looked like a elbow on Phil Jagielka. A bit fortunate I think is the England striker.

20:56: Bendtner almost had a second as his flicked header is cleared off the Hull City line.

20:55: Another sloppy goal for Chelsea to conceed as Sunderland level. Azpilicuta fails to clear at the near post and after Wes Brown is denied, John O'Shea tucks home with ease.

Goal: Sunderland 2-2 Chelsea (John O'Shea)

Goal: Southampton 1-1 Aston Villa (Jay Rodriguez)

20:50: Outstanding team goal from Arsenal and Hull's hard work in the first half is ruined. Aaron Ramsey plays a delicious reverse pass and finds Mesut Ozil, who drives the ball in at the near post.

Goal: Arsenal 2-0 Hull City (Mesut Ozil)

20:46: Teams are out and ready for the second half around the country. Still going in the first half at Craven Cottage and the Hawthorns though, where there was a delayed kick-off.

Goal: West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Manchester City (Yaya Toure)

20:36: For those thinking of going to make a half-time cuppa, then think again. Two games still going on. Fancy we're in for a long night at the Hawthorns, where on 20 minutes has been played.

20:35: Tim Krul palms out a cross and the bakll falls the way of Nathan Dyer and he finds the empty net. Not a classic at the Liberty but the home side are ahead.

Goal: Swansea City 1-0 Newcastle United (Nathan Dyer)

20:31: Ozil flicks wide for Arsenal as they spurn another chance to double their lead. One minute added on at the Emirates and Old Trafford.

20:27: Everton have edged the first half for me and they should be ahead. Lukaku bares down on goal, is allowed on his left foot and De Gea gets in the way rather than saves the ball with any assurity. Miralles effort is now blocked.

Goal: West Bromwich Albion 0-1 Manchester City (Sergio Aguero)

20:24: The Blues take the lead for the first time in the north east and Eden Hazard, who made the first, scores the second. The Belgian has the ball outside the penalty area, waits for the decoy run and then hammers the ball into the corner. Excellent goal

Goal: Sunderland 1-2 Chelsea (Eden Hazard)

20:23: No doubt we're watching the in form player in the Premier League, not least one of the best in the world. Luis Suarez has three to his name, his third treble against Norwich. All of them an absolute picture.

Goal: Liverpool 3-0 Norwich City (Luis Suarez)

20:18: Aaron Ramsey is denied by an outstanding save from Allan Mcgregor at the Emirates. The home side are closing in on a second.

20:16: Wayne Rooney has been on the pheripheral so far but he almost puts United ahead as his shot takes two deflections on its way to goal before striking the base of the post and being cleared away by Howard before Welbeck can strike.

20:15: Suarez is closing in on a third successive hat-trick against Norwich as he sweeps home from a corner. Too easy for the Uruguyan.

Goal: Liverpool 2-0 Norwich City (Luis Suarez)

20:12: More from Old Trafford. Romelu Lukaku has been everywhere and he again gets away from Vidic but his cross is cut out for a corner.

20:08: United should really be ahead after Tim Howard smoothers Shinji Kagawa's close range strike. The Japan midfielder was miles offside but there was no flag.

20:04: A flurry of goals in the Premier League. Southampton have dominated for long periods at St Mary's bu they're behind as Agbonlahor runs the length of the field and nets. Liverpool are ahead and Luis Suarez has scored a blinder from 40 yards. Chelsea are level against bottom club Sunderland too, through Frank Lampard's killer touch. Phew.

Goal: Sunderland 1-1 Chelsea (Frank Lampard)

Goal: Liverpool 1-0 Norwich City (Luis Suarez)

Goal: Southampton 0-1 Aston Villa (Gabriel Agbonlahor)

20:01: Craig Gardner plays a free-kick back into the Chelsea boss and Altidore control the ball, shifts it to the left and hammers past Cech. The Blacks Cats ahead.

Goal: Sunderland 1-0 Chelsea (Jozy Altidore)

19:58: It's all Arsenal at the Emirates. What a confidence boost for Bendtner that goal might be. Lots of talk about the club needing a striker in January. The Dane might have something to say about that.

19:55: Manchester United living dangerously at Old Trafford. Kevin Miralles shoots from range and De Gea turns the ball over. Best chance so far.

19:51: Little to eport from Old Trafford in the opening five minutes. Everton have had much of the play however and United look very nervy.

19:49: Amazing start at the Emirates. Arsenal ahead through their lead striker, at it must be said, an unlikely source. Carl Jenkinson gets to the byline, crosses and Bendtner meets the ball at the near post and finds the corner. His first Premier League goal for Arsenal since December 2010.

Goal: Arsenal 1-0 Hull City (Nicklas Bendtner)

19:47: Underway in the seven 7:45pm kick-offs.

19:43: Interesting to see what reception david Moyes gets from the Everton faithful tonight. Transformed the club during 11 years at Goodison Park. Deserves some recognition for that.

19:41: It's nights like these that seasons often hinge on. Little games which appear easy on paper but prove to be a banana skin. Those fighting for the title will want a error-free evening while those at the bottom will want to inflcit a few bloody noses. Teams are in the tunnel for the early kick-offs.

19:33: Less than 15 minutes to go until we kick off in the 7:45pm games and time for some predictions me thinks. Include yours below and you can gloat legitimately later.

19:28: Worth noting that West Brom v Man City is now an 20:15 kick off due to traffic around the Hawthorns.

19:24: Time to add some meat to the bone. Nicklas Bendtner makes his first Premier League start of the season and leads the Arsenal attack against Hull City. Despite wanting away from Fulham, Dimitar Berbatov starts against former club Tottenham who have Jermaine Defoe in instead of Roberto Soldado.

Marouane Fellaini plays against his former club Everton for Manchester United, who welcome back Ryan Giggs, who becomes the fourth 40-something to play in the Premier League. Ashley Cole again misses out for Chelsea, who bring in Willian and retain Juan Mata. For Manchester City, Vincent Kompany returns to captain Manuel Pellegrini's men.

19:13: So you've looked at the form book, you've placed your bets; time for a bit of team news me thinks. All the line ups from the 7:45pm and 8pm kick offs to come......

19:00: The festive period is full of surprises and prior to Friday's World Cup draw comes a bumper set of Premier League fixtures which represent far more than just mid-week filler. After Crystal Palace jumped off the bottom with a win over West Ham United on Tuesday, the remaining 18 teams take centre stage on Wednesday with much at stake.

The headline games come from Old Trafford where David Moyes takes on Everton for the first time since joining Manchester United, at the Emirates where Arsenal take on surprise-package Hull City and the Stadium of Light where bottom club Sunderland take on second place Chelsea. A word also on Fulham against Tottenham Hotspur, where Rene Meulesteen takes charge of his first match after Martin Jol's sacking on Sunday.

As ever, all the goals as they go in across the country with particular focus on Manchester United v Everton and Arsenal v Hull City. You needn't move anywhere.
