Luis Suarez claims that Raheem Sterling and Suso deserve to be at Liverpool for their performances this season, with the young duo showing great potential to be future stars at Merseyside.

Sterling and Suso have both been offered ample opportunities with the Reds this season, making the move up from the youth side as Brendan Rodgers looks to experiment and create more depth in the squad.

And as the duo stand tall alongside the more senior Liverpool players, Suarez says he plans to offer them advice to help the younger stars integrate easily into the starting line-up.

"I'm a youngster too, I'm only 25!" He joked to the Liverpool website. "We've got a lot of quality youngsters here, such as Raheem and Suso showed what he could do the other day.

"They are all really good players and they are at Liverpool for a reason.

"The form that Raheem has been showing and Suso the other day, they are showing us that they want to help the team.

Luis Suarez says he plans to help Liverpool's younger players as much as possible.

"And we so-called experienced players are always there to help them."

Suarez insists that as a more senior Liverpool player, he must take on a leadership role and offer guidance to those who are new to the Premier League, in order to prepare them as much as possible for the pressure that come with playing for such a large club.

"I think it should be us who are offering advice to them, telling what they are doing well, and not so well," he explained.

"I think they do realise that they have to learn things from the older players.

"Let's hope that they continue to develop and don't just stand still but continue to prove exactly why they are at Liverpool."

Liverpool's 5-2 win over Norwich on Saturday will no doubt prove to be a massive confidence booster for the Reds, who were without a win in the league until the match-up.

And after Suso and Sterling both received mentions in the win, the pair will be looking to build on more victories with the senior side in this campaign.
