Liverpool's Top Targets in the Champions League

Liverpool may not be in the Champions League this season, but with the side setting the ambitious goal of qualifying for the tournament next year, Kenny Dalglish has set the club some top targets who already have experience playing across the continent.

The Reds haven't participated in top-tier European football since 2010, and the side are keen to add to their cabinet of five trophies to keep bragging rights over rivals Manchester United.

And after another week of Champions League action comes to an end, Liverpool will be looking at their options for January, with the transfer window just over a month away from opening.

Barcelona star Seydou Keita and Lille playmaker Eden Hazard are both on Liverpool's radar, while the club will have to fight Chelsea and Manchester United for Neven Subotic.

Philippe Coutinho received another chance to prove his worth on the transfer market, with the youngster putting Liverpool on alert this week by admitting he doesn't know where his future lies.

And Alvaro Pereira is still on Kenny Dalglish's transfer wishlist, as the manager looks to add as much depth to the Liverpool squad as possible before the season gets into the business end.
