Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe is delighted to have Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge back in the squad following their return from injury during the Reds' 1-0 win over Swansea City. The Merseyside club moved up to sixth place in the Premier League table and within four points of Arsenal in the fourth place.

Henderson has been sidelined since the middle of August after suffering a foot injury during their clash against Bournemouth, while Sturridge missed the last nine games owing to foot and ankle injuries. The duo made their first appearance under new manager Jurgen Klopp when they came as second half substitutes during the win over the south Wales club.

The Anfield outfit has won three games in a row in all competitions and will be looking to make it to Wembley for the second time in as many seasons when they take on Southampton in the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.

Apart from the duo, Ibe has revealed that Philippe Coutinho is also close to making a return from a minor hamstring injury and is hoping to continue their momentum and climb higher on the table in the coming weeks.

"It was a big lift having the two of them back out there. Jordan and Daniel are big figures in the team and hopefully they will get back to form. We all know how important they can be for us on the pitch," Ibe told the Liverpool Echo.

"We've got good players coming back in and also Philippe Coutinho is close to being back as well so hopefully we will climb even higher," the England U-21 international added. "Anything is possible right now. We will take it game by game and try to do it again on Wednesday."
