Juventus are continuing to monitor Luis Suarez's situation at Liverpool, according to Italian media sources, with the Serie A side hoping to give their strike force a serious boost in the summer.

The Reds have insisted on many occasions that Suarez is committed to the side, particularly after he was found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United star Patrice Evra.

But with controversy continuing to surround the Uruguay international, rumours have been circling that he might be interested in a move away from not just Liverpool, but the Premier League.

Suarez has been an important part of the Liverpool squad, but scoring 10 goals in 27 appearances hasn't been effective enough to push the side into the top four so far. Kenny Dalglish has admitted in the past that his attacking line-up hasn't been clinical enough, but whether he would be willing to let go of Suarez after committing to the striker so many times remains to be seen.

Calciomercato.com claims that Italian media are reporting that Juventus are watching Suarez very closely, and are also keeping tabs on Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.

In fact, the paper is reporting that scouts from the Champions League contenders were present at the Liverpool v Arsenal game, and were particularly impressed by van Persie's form, as the Dutchman won the match for the Gunners in the dying minutes.

Alex Song is also said to be on Juventus' radar, along with United youngster Paul Pogba, who is out of contract with the current title holders in the summer.

And while Suarez is unlikely to be let go by Liverpool, Juventus are still hopeful that they can land the star if his situation changes at the club.
