Liverpool and Chelsea will face each other in the International Champions Cup at the Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California on Thursday (28 July). It is a friendly fixture scheduled between the two Premier League clubs as both sides are in America for the 2016 pre-season tour.

The Reds have been impressive in the four friendly matches played so far, as Jurgen Klopp's side have won all of them and have maintained clean sheets. The Merseyside club have scored 10 goals in the process.

The Liverpool manager will be looking to keep the winning streak intact and also keep a clean sheet when his side take on the west London club. A victory over the Blues will boost their morale as they take on AC Milan in the next fixture in the International Champions Cup.

Chelsea, on the other hand have a new manager from this summer in the form of Antonio Conte, who was appointed earlier this year. The former Juventus coach took charge at Stamford Bridge after his commitment with Italy in the Euro 2016.

The Italian manager started his Blues career on a disappointing note as Chelsea suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Austrian club Rapid Wien. However, they bounced back with a win after defeating Wolfsberger AC 3-0 in the following fixture.

Conte's side will take on Real Madrid and Milan in the next two friendly fixtures and a victory over their league rivals on Thursday will give them the much needed boost for the remaining three matches in pre-season.
