Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 3pm GMT. Live coverage is on Setanta Sports 1. Catch the highlights of the match on Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10.30pm GMT.

Overview

Liverpool come into this fixture after a disappointing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Watford. Things even got worse for the Reds at the Vicarage Road as their star defender Martin Skrtel picked up an injury and is expected to be on the sidelines for six weeks.

Jurgen Klopp's side are without a win in the last four matches played in all competitions, which includes two defeats in the league to Newcastle United and Watford. The German manager will be hoping Liverpool can bounce back against the Foxes.

Leicester are enjoying a brilliant run in the league as they sit on top of the Premier League table, ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City. The next two fixtures are against Liverpool and the Citizens and a victory in these two matches will see them leap forward in the league table, if the Gunners struggle to win their fixtures.

Claudio Ranieri's side are high on confidence and the Italian manager will be hoping his side can continue their impressive run against the Merseyside club on Saturday. Liverpool have struggled in the last four matches and Leicester will be hoping to take advantage of the situation.

What managers say

Jurgen Klopp: "They play nearly perfect counter attacking football. I have big respect for Claudio and the whole squad of Leicester. It's always interesting to talk to people like him and that's what we did. There's big respect from both sides. He will always stay successful in his managerial career."

Claudio Ranieri: "I think if we go through this fantastic moment - because now we have Liverpool, Manchester City and then Bournemouth, who are in great form, then Tottenham — maybe if we are still top after that not only Leicester fans are behind us, but a lot of English fans as well, because Leicester, I think, are a likeable team. Maybe the people say: 'If my team don't win, I'm very happy if Leicester win.' And this is a good thing."
