Five minutes of added time at Anfield.

James Milner and Bartley, who seems to have been involved in every incident of note today, collide in the box but play is waved on as the ball pinballs around the Liverpool box. It eventually falls to Williams' but his header is wide of goal.

With just over 10 minutes to play, Swansea are starting to throw players forward here.

Liverpool and Milner come close to getting their second of the afternoon with Henderson finding him in space in the box. The ex-Manchester City midfielder however can only drag his shot wide.

And here he is! Daniel Sturridge enters the fray to replace Benteke for these final 20 minutes.

With 20 minutes to go at Anfield, it looks like Daniel Sturridge is preparing to come on.

Here's more for Liverpool to cheer, Jordan Henderson is off the bench to make his return from injury, replacing Roberto Firmino, whose had a fairly quiet evening.

Penalty! Liverpool

Liverpool are waking up a bit now as Jordon Ibe cuts in from the wing and hits one towards the bottom corner, but Fabianski is able to get down there and palm the ball away and around the post.

No changes from either side, by the way.

And we are back underway at Anfield.

Remember the vibrant Liverpool who destroyed Manchester City in 45 minutes last week? Can we have them back, please? It's been a very drab affair at Anfield where there has barely been a chance worth talking about.

Half time: Liverpool 0-0 Swansea

Liverpool have a free kick out on thr edge of the box when Bartley clips Benteke. It's a good chance for Klopp's side to fashion something of note but Moreno fires a poor efforts well over. A classic, this hasn't been.

The only thing of note to have happened in the last five minutes or so has been the sight of Daniel Sturridge beginning to warm up on the sidelines to warm applause from around Anfield.

Liverpool have been the better side for the past 10 minutes but Swansea have a rare opportunity on the break through Andre Ayew, who fouled by James Milner. The England international appeared to get enough of the ball, but has been shown a yellow card anyway.

It's been relatively quiet out there since that Benteke chance, if you can call it a chance. There are some cries of protest as Williams appears to pull back Benteke just inside the Swansea box, but the referee isn't interested.

Emre Can lifts a decent ball over for Benteke just inside the box, The Belgian turns, looking to find the room to pull the trigger but before he can Ashley Williams is across to win the ball back.

Liverpool are denied by the woodwork! It comes in bizarre circumstances as Lallana plays the ball through to Ibe. Bartley races across to intercept but in doing so hammers the ball towards his own goal, only for the post to come to his rescue.

Quiet start to proceedings at Anfield. Will Liverpool attack with the same verve we saw at the Etihad Stadium last week?

And we are off and underway at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp wouldn't rule Daniel Sturridge out from today's match when speaking to the press earlier this week but after that mid-week setback, it is still a surprise to see him on the bench this afternoon. Jordan Henderson is also among the subs after his lengthy lay-off.

Swansea team to face Liverpool: Fabianski, Naughton, Bartley, Williams (c), Taylor, Britton, Ki Sung-Yueng, Sigurdsson, Routledge, Ayew, Éder

Liverpool team to face Norwich: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Can, Milner, Lallana, Ibe, Firmino, Benteke

Subs: Bogdan, Toure, Henderson, Sturridge, Allen, Origi, Randall

After the 4-1 thrashing of Manchester City last weekend, there is plently of reason for optimism around Liverpool. Apart from if you are Daniel Sturridge. The England international was scheduled to make his comeback midweek against Bordeaux but those plans were scrapped when he suffered a fresh foot injury. Klopp wouldn't rule out the striker featuring today, but it would be a huge surprise to see him start at Anfield.

Elsewhere, Philippe Coutinho is also a doubt this afternoon with a hamstring problem. Jordan Henderson returned to first-team training this week, but today's match may come too soon for the former Sunderland midfielder.

All the players from yesterday are in good shape. Does Daniel have a chance for Sunday? I don't know. But five weeks in a row without playing means he needs matches.

"Jordan and Jordan [Henderson and Rossiter] trained today. Henderson wants [to return] I can say that. He wants to play but we have to wait. We'll see every day how he adapts to the intensity of the previous day. "Henderson is always [knocking] on the door, wanting to play. But he needs to be perfect physically. When in that shape we can use him.

Swansea City meanwhile are without the suspended Jonjo Shelvey.
