Overview

Liverpool enter this fixture after settling for a goalless draw against their arch-rivals at Manchester United at Anfield. They dominated with possession throughout the game, but were unable to find the back of the net.

The Red Devils goalkeeper David de Gea made two world class saves in the second half, restricting Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho from giving the much needed lead to the Merseyside club.

Jurgen Klopp will be disappointed after his side failed to break United in the previous fixture. He will be targeting to get three points when Liverpool host the Baggies for the late kick-off on Saturday.

West Brom have settled for three consecutive 1-1 draws, which includes one against Tottenham Hotspur in the last fixture. Former Spurs man Nacer Chadli has been the key man for Tony Pulis' side.

In the previous match, the Baggies were on the verge of sealing three points. However, Dele Alli's late goal made sure that West Brom were forced to settle for only a point against the north London club at home.

What managers say

Jurgen Klopp: "I think this is a good moment for Dan. It is not easy for him. Most of his time in his life football has been so easy because he is so skilled. The right moment, easy goal, simple goal. The job to do for him, for all of us, before he ends his career is not to think about when he had a moment like this."

Tony Pulis: "I don't think there's one reason, there's all different reasons. We've looked at it and he wants to get as fit as he can. Saido has got too many people around him talking to him at times and gets carried away with too many different ideas and thoughts. We've decided this is the best way to get Saido fit, back on board and playing the way he played when I first came here."
