Queens Park Rangers record signing striker, Loic Remy, has been arrested on suspicion of rape along with his cousin and another man.

Remy, 26, was arrested at an address in Fulham following a complaint by a 34-year-old woman that she was raped by three men in west London.

According to ITV News, The alleged victim was offered a drink and lost consciousness afterwards. She later awoke to find herself naked with the three men still present.

All three men were arrested by on the morning of 15 May.

The Metropolitan Police said: "Officers from Sapphire are investigating an allegation of rape which happened on 6 May in the west London area.

"The allegation was passed on to the MPS by Kent Police on 8 May after the 34-year-old female victim reported it to them on the previous day, 7 May. The victim alleges she was raped by three men.

"On the morning of Wednesday, 15 May three men, [A] aged 26; [B] aged 23; [C] 22 yrs, were arrested at an address in Fulham on suspicion of rape - they remain in custody at a west London police station".

QPR said in a statement: "The club is aware of the allegations regarding Loic Remy, but due to police investigations is unable to comment."

QPR signed the French international for a club record fee of £8m from Ligue 1 team Olympique de Marseille. He has made 13 appearances for the club this season, scoring six goals.

He is expected to leave the club following their relegation to the Championship.

The former Lyon striker has also been capped 18 times for France, scoring four goals.
