Stars from the worlds of fashion and music, including models Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner and singers Ellie Goulding and Paloma Faith, attended the Topshop Unique show at London's Tate Britain art gallery on 22 February.

The celebrities posed for photographs and spoke to media before taking their seats on the front row of the popular fashion week event.

Topshop, which is part of the Arcadia Group, is a leading British retail brand with around 500 stores globally.

Its billionaire owner, Philip Green, said participating in London Fashion Week was a way to push the company forward:

"Obviously we've been doing this a long time, we're the only retailer here. I think also as you know we help to show young designers. I think it's a combination that we want to be here. I think the way the world is, you know more important than ever, probably, to be ahead, to show what we're doing and move the brand along and I think it's key."

Topshop Unique's autumn/winter 2015 collection stuck to its English roots by taking inspiration from the countryside and retro cocktail hour.

The models, styled with windswept hair and natural-looking make up, wore tweed skirts, cable knit jumpers and floral printed dresses, which were often teamed with knee-high boots and colourful faux fur coats.

For those in the mood for something more glitzy, there were also glossy vinyl coats, black velvet outfits with intricate gold embroidery and feathered frocks.

Topshop's designers said the focus was on creating a youthful wardrobe that was both versatile and contemporary.

London Fashion Week runs till 24 February, with labels such as Burberry, Erdem and Anya Hindmarch still left to present their latest collections.
