Cara Delevingne may not be making an appearance on the catwalk of London Fashion Week after retiring from the runway, but if you want to get up close with her and bestie Kendall Jenner all you need to do is head to Madame Tussauds and take a look at their new wax figures.

The best friends and founders of the CaKe brand, their upcoming fashion label, will be part of a glittering line up for the wax emporium's special Fashion Week Experience. Opening on 9 February, the event will be open in time to get some fashion practice in before the real London Fashion Week starts on February 18th.

Clearly the girls are pleased with the results, with the pair of them sharing hints of the finished models on their social media. 23-year-old Cara uploaded a very realistic shot on Instagram of her new wax doppelganger complete with tattoos and piercings with the hashtag #WaxCake, although what you couldn't see is that Delevingne's model will be dressed in Saint Laurent.

Likewise Kendall opted for a similar reveal, tweeting a close up of "her" eye with the same hashtag that looks startlingly real. Breaking the illusion was Madame Tussauds themselves, who posted a shot of Kendall during one of her two fittings she attended holding on to the box of eyeballs that would be going into the finished item.

If selfies with Cara's dummy is not enough for to tempt you and you think you can do better, there will be a red carpet to strut down – under the watchful eye of Anna Wintour, of course.

Madame Tussauds London Fashion Week runs 9-21 February. You can buy tickets online now.
