Real Madrid can clinch their first La Liga title in five years by avoiding defeat against Malaga at La Rosaleda on 21 May.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 7pm BST. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 3 HD.

Overview

Malaga's four-game winning run in La Liga came to an end as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Real Sociedad at Anoeta on 14 May. The Andalusian club have lost six of their last eight meetings with Real Madrid.

Zdravko Kuzmanovic, Bakary Kone and Roberto Rosales are all sidelined through injury for the hosts.

Real Madrid moved three points clear of Barcelona by beating Celta Vigo 4-1 in midweek. The capital club will be crowned Spanish champions if they get a point against Malaga, regardless of what happens in Barcelona's clash against Eibar at Camp Nou.

Gareth Bale and Dani Carvajal could both feature after recovering from calf and hamstring injuries, respectively.

What managers say

Michel: "My players want to win every single match, regardless of the rival. The message has been the same every week, we cannot change it. It wouldn't be fair on our part, nor would it be credible. As such we have worked the same, with the same intention and same level of intensity – there can be no other way." [via ESPN]

Zinedine Zidane: "We know how hard it is to win La Liga. It's very tough because there are 38 games, it's far from easy. Every week, or every three days, you have to show how much you want to win it and that's what we've managed to do so far. We work extremely hard and the players have been fantastic every day. We deserve the position we're in. We're top and now we've got to finish the job off in the final and most difficult game." [via ESPN]
