Manchester United sealed their first group stage win in the 2016/17 Europa League clash when they registered a 1-0 victory over Zorya Luhansk at Old Trafford on 29 September. Zlatan Ibrahimovic's second half goal, assisted by substitute Wayne Rooney helped the Red Devils clinch three points.

Jose Mourinho played a strong attacking lineup, which included the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain striker leading his side's attack. Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford were playing behind the Swede, while Paul Pogba partnered Marouane Fellaini in the midfield.

The Belgium international's performance was criticised by a section of fans, while Marcos Rojo and Timothy Fosu-Mensah were deployed on either side of the back four. Rooney came on in place of Lingard in the 67th minute and within two minutes, he assisted Ibrahimovic, which was the only goal of the match.

Freezing out Schweinsteiger whilst playing Fellaini is a bit like letting a classic Rolls Royce rust to drive a Skoda instead.

Fellaini shouldn't be near our starting XI. He's a squad player who has 1 good game in 10. As for Rojo, should consider a return to Lisbon.

Mourinho managed to kick his Rooney habit. He now needs to do the same with Fellaini #mufc

Paul Pogba can't/won't defend, Marouane Fellaini can't/won't attack and together they make the most imbalanced central midfield in a while.

Defended Fellaini enough times but he really needs to be moved on. Everything is so painfully slow and cumbersome with him in the middle.

Thankfully #MUFC have Blind to deputise for Shaw
Rojo poor vs 3 average teams
Shame as CBJ would've benefited from games Rojo is squandering

I've no doubt United will be a lot better Sunday. No excuses but nobody, including the players are up for the Europa League. It clearly shows
