Luis Nani
Luis Nani is on PSG's wishlist if the Franch side fail to land Angel Di Maria in the transfer window, reports claim.

Paris Saint Germain are targeting Manchester United winger Luis Nani as a back-up if they fail to land Arsenal target Angel Di Maria, according to reports in France.

With less than two weeks to go until deadline day, PSG are clearly not finished in the transfer window just yet after the side registered two disappointing draws in a row so far this season.

Already behind the likes of Monaco and Lyon, Laurent Blanc is believed to be in the market for an attacking player to compliment his squad and has drawn up a list with Di Maria at the top of it.

The Frenchman faces a tough fight from Arsenal to land the Argentine however, as reports today claim Arsene Wenger is also in the market for the winger and Le Parisien reports that PSG already have a back-up plan in pursuing Nani.

Nani's time at United has brought mixed success; last season he fell completely out of favour with Sir Alex Ferguson and with the January purchase of Wilfried Zaha could be set for a summer exit.

But with a changeover in managers, David Moyes' plans for Nani remain to be seen though recent reports have suggested the two have held talks and agreed to work together for the season ahead.

The Portugal international has just 12 months remaining on his contract with United and would certainly cost less than Di Maria, whom Madrid are hoping to keep for the season ahead.

But money is certainly not an object to PSG in the way that it has been to Arsenal, and the French club have already reportedly outbid the Gunners in their pursuit of Yohan Cabaye, putting forward an offer of £15m for the Newcastle midfielder in the last few days.
