David de Gea looks increasingly likely to remain at Manchester United after reports that Real Madrid have not yet made a bid for the Spain international were following by confirmation of his inclusion in the club's 26-man pre-season squad for the summer tour to the United States.

Sky Sports understands that Real are yet to firm up their interest in De Gea with an offer for the 24-year-old, despite allowing Iker Casillas to join FC Porto, and United have firmed up the goalkeeper's role for the new campaign by adding him to their touring party.

New signings Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay are all included in the squad, but elsewhere there are several hints over United's transfer business during the remainder of the summer.

As well as the selection of De Gea, number two Victor Valdes has been omitted from the squad along with full-back Rafael.

Valdes, who made just two appearances in his maiden campaign after joining the club in January, has been linked with Turkish club Antalyaspo, though his agent has dismissed the interest.

Rafael, meanwhile, is understood to make up part of a swap deal that could see Nicolas Gaitan move to United from Portuguese champion Benfica, according to the player's agent.

Angel di Maria and Marcos Rojo have both been omitted as they continue to recover from their role in Argentina's run to the Copa America final.

Antonio Valencia is also among the squad having undergone unspecified surgery in the summer. Sean Goss and Sam Johnstone, neither of whom have made first team appearances, are included too.

Louis van Gaal's side fly out to America on 13 July ahead of four matches in the International Champions Cup.

United face Club America, San Jose Earthquakes, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in their four pre-season fixtures as part of their preparation for the new season, which starts against Tottenham Hotspur on 8 August.
