Manchester United fans have apparently wasted no time in banishing memories of David Moyes from Old Trafford - after the infamous 'The Chosen One' banner was purportedly put on eBay.

United fans unfurled the banner at the Stretford End of Old Trafford to mark the appointment of Moyes as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor instead of the self-proclaimed special one, Jose Mourinho.

The eBay purchase detials say that the banner must be collected in person from Manchester.

Earlier, Stretford End Flags, the group behind banners at Old Trafford, had suggested the banner might be donated to the National Football Museum.

The banner attracted attention in March when a group of fans paid for a reposte to the banner to be flown over the stadium during a game against Aston Villa.
