Manchester United earned three more points in the Premier League after they stunned Tottenham with a convincing 3-1 victory at White Hart Lane this Sunday.

It was actually the Spurs who nearly took the lead in the 38th minute of the game, when Togolese forward Emmanuel Adebayor managed to find the nets off a Louis Saha pass; however, the referee ruled it out as a hand ball, as Adebayor had used his hands to control the ball.

After then, the game was completely dominated by the Red Devils, who then scored the opening goal on the stroke of half time, via an impressive strike by star forward Rooney.

Ashley Young put the finishing touches to the game by scoring two back-to-back goals in the 60th and 69th minute.

Spurs, who were heading towards their first home defeat since August, could only manage one consolation goal - in the 87th minute, thanks to Jermain Defoe.
