Gareth Bale
Gareth Bale is believed to be on PSG's shortlist of transfer targets, with Luis Nani also a consideration.

Luis Nani and Gareth Bale are both on Paris Saint Germain's shortlist in their pursuit for a winger, reports in France claim.

Bale has starred for Spurs over the last season and has become a top target for Real Madrid in recent months. While Andre Villas-Boas has continually insisted that the Wales international will stay at White Hart Lane it would seem that they might relent if a ground-breaking offer came in.

But in signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani in successive summers PSG have shown that money is no object and Le10Sport is reporting that the Ligue 1 champions are seeking back-up in the wide positions.

While Bale is a target, the side are well aware that his preference is to go to Madrid if he does indeed leave Totenham. And with that in mind the club are also believed to be looking at Nani as an alternative.

Nani would be a lot easier, and cheaper, to prise from United with the winger currently in contract talks with the club.

His current deal is entering into it's final 12 months and the Portugal international was often left on the sidelines by Sir Alex Ferguson in favour of Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia. The January purchase of Wilfried Zaha has created even more competition and Nani's agent has admitted he is considering an exit from the English giants as a result.

Roma were linked with a move for Nani, and the possible deal was believed to be worth around £12m. Recent reports claimed that David Moyes had assessed the situation surrounding the star and decided to give him another chance.

But should PSG come into the fray with a higher bid, United may be more willing to let go of their winger to garner more money in their own pursuit of new talent this summer.
