Anderson
Anderson is believed to be set for a January exit from Manchester United, along with Ashley Young.

Manchester United are planning a cleanout of their senior squad which will include shipping out Anderson and Ashley Young as the side look to turn around their dismal league form.

The Red Devils are believed to be offering Luis Nani and Antonio Valencia in a possible swap deal with Galatasaray for Wesley Sneijder and the Mirror are reporting that Moyes is considering offloading Young and Anderson as well in the hopes of revamping the side that currently sit in ninth place in the Premier League table.

Anderson has featured for United just three times in the league this season while Young has also been handed limited chances on the pitch, having failed to start a game since the club were beaten 4-1 by Manchester City.

The side broke a five-game undefeated run as they lost 1-0 to Everton in their midweek fixture and as a result are now 12 points behind leaders Arsenal. An overhaul in January will likely take place as Moyes looks to improve upon a disappointing summer transfer window in which he managed to land one target, Marouane Fellaini, for an over-the-odds fee.

United are believed to have Sneijder on their list of possible targets alongside Ander Herrera, Ilkay Gundogan and Leighton Baines but the manager will surely also be looking to trim the squad of unwanted players as he puts his stamp on the United side.

Anderson made the move to United from Porto but has failed to find the consistency that justified his £24m fee. Young has been equally disappointing and has become more well-known for his perceived diving than his performances for the team and the Mirror claims that Moyes now sees the duo as 'surplus to requirements'.

Should Moyes be able to land one or more of his desired targets in January, the winger and midfielder won't be missed from a side that are hoping to get back in the mix for the Premier League trophy in the new year.
