United and Dortmund will face each other in the pre-season clash in China.

Overview

Jose Mourinho and his men have travelled to China for the 2016 pre-season tour, where they will face Dortmund and neighbours Manchester City. United have done business with the Bundesliga outfit, having signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan from the German club this summer.

The Armenian international, who started against Wigan Athletic is likely to start match against Dortmund. However, it is not going to be an easy one for Mkhitaryan to face his former teammates, especially after his impressive form for them last term.

United secured a 2-0 win in the first pre-season clash against Wigan at the DW Stadium. Two second half goals from Will Keane and Andreas Pereira was sufficient for the Red Devils to give Mourinho his first win.

Dortmund, on the other hand come into this fixture after a 1-0 defeat at the hands of TSV 1860 Munich. This was their first pre-season defeat as Thomas Tuchel's side had won the remaining three matches.
