Manchester United take on West Ham United in the EFL Cup quarter-final clash at Old Trafford on 30 November (Wednesday).

Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 8pm GMT. Live coverage of the match will be available on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Radio commentary will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

United and West Ham faced each other in the last fixture at Old Trafford in the Premier League. Diafra Sakho's second-minute header gave the visitors an early lead, but was cancelled by Zlatan Ibrahimovic's header.

However, the Red Devils were left frustrated as they failed to take their chances and were forced to settle for a point for the fourth consecutive league fixture at home. The match also saw Jose Mourinho sent off to the stand for kicking a bottle, for which he has been charged by the Football Association.

For the EFL Cup draw, United will be without the services of midfielders Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini as the duo are suspended for the match after receiving a fifth yellow card of the season.

In the previous round, the Red Devils defeated Manchester City at home and knocked their local rivals out of one competition. Mourinho and his men will be hoping they can pull off another win in order to seal a berth in the last four of the tournament.

Chelsea made it to the quarter-final after beating London rivals West Ham at home. The match ended in a 2-1 victory for the Hammers as Cheikhou Kouyate's and Edimilson Fernandes' goals were sufficient for them to make it to the next round of the EFL Cup.

What managers say

Slaven Bilic: "It was a great volley to be fair. He should have miskicked it - he hit it too well! I have sympathy with him because the situation with Pogba, it was a great decision from the referee but from our point of view it did not look like a dive. Many times I have seen those bottles in front of me and many times I have gone to smash them and stopped in the last second.
