Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says that the position Sunderland find themselves in will make them a very dangerous team. The Citizens play Sunderland tonight in the first of their two postponed games, knowing that a a win would place them four points behind leaders Liverpool with a game in hand.

Since losing 3-1 to Manchester City in the League Cup final, the Black Cats have been on a woeful run of form which has seen them remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League table, seven points from safety. But Pellegrini says that Sunderland's desperation to win will make them a dangerous opponent in tonight's fixture.
