Marvel Cinematic Universe super-marathon TV and movies guide: From Iron Man to Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvel Studios' big and small screen superhero universe is one of modern Hollywood's greatest success stories. It took just five years for them to go from their first feature (Iron Man) to making the third highest grossing film of all time (Avengers Assemble), and the success doesn't seem to be letting up.

By the time their current plans come to head in 2019 with Avengers: Infinity War Part 2, they will have released 21 films, at least four Marvel One Shot short films and made at least seven TV series - their five planned Netflix series Agents, SHIELD, and Agent Carter.

With every single film and TV show part of a single Marvel Cinematic Universe, that makes for one enormous marathon of film and TV-watching. But how do you arrange your viewing to make the most of it al?

There's some guess work here, figured out using the release dates available. The Agents of SHIELD episodes are assuming there are no breaks when the show returns in March.

Agents of SHIELD returns in March and will end with episodes tying into Avengers: Age of Ultron's release in late April.

Ant-Man, which will be released in the summer, brings Marvel's Phase Two films to a close before Phase Three begins in 2016. Netflix's Daredevil is believed to be launching in May.
