With the days getting longer and the weather turning slightly milder, dinner parties, BBQs and casual entertaining are becoming more of a regular weekend activity. The nightmare that usually occurs, when the night is going well, but before long you run out of alcohol and someone has to step up and leave the party.

Thanks to the geniuses at Bevy, the beer run can become a thing of the past with a new app that delivers alcohol to your door any time. If you thought you loved the Deliveroo cyclist bringing Nandos to you on a Thursday night, imagine how much love the Bevy driver will get when he comes to re-stock the bar for you. The tap-pay-deliver Uber-style system that the new app promises lets you select from a host of boozy options and receive the goods in 30 minutes or less, and all for just a £5 delivery fee.

A host of Bevy butlers, as they have been dubbed, are on hand to deliver alcohol, cigarettes and even condoms to your door, from 5pm - 5am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. So, depending on where the evening is heading, you will most definitely be sorted. They even have Alka Seltzer if you're gearing up for an all-nighter.

Bevy says that it is the only on-demand alcohol delivery service in the EU and whilst the butlers are currently only delivering within the boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Wandsworth and Lambeth, plus parts of East London, they say they are expanding fast and look to increase to more areas soon.

If you're reading this worrying that underage house parties are about to become a whole lot more rowdy, then fear not: all Bevy Butlers are trained to request ID upon arrival.

You can download the app from Bevy.co or the app store now - and never worry about an empty drinks cabinet again.
