The Mentalist Season 7 premieres in a week and fans are excited about Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon's new romantic life.

In the Season 6 finale Jane finally expressed his love for Lisbon in the most dramatic way possible and managed to convince Teresa about how much he wants her in his life.

Back to Season 7, the much in love couple decide to keep their romantic life a secret from their departments as they move forward to solve another murder case.

The premiere will also mark the entry of FBI rookie Michelle Vega, the newest addition to Jane's team in CBS' police investigative drama.

Her character will play an important role as she is an aggressive investigator following the latest methods contrary to that of Jane's.

There are rumours that Michelle Vega may create a love triangle along with Jisbon as the couple keep their affair a secret.

The premiere episode is titled, Nothing But Blue Skies and the official synopsis for the same reads:

Jane and Lisbon decide to keep their new relationship a secret from their colleagues as they investigate the murder of an undercover agent. Also, young, ambitious agent Michelle Vega joins the team.

Meanwhile, Spoiler TV shared some intriguing teasers about the first episode of the final season of the show.

According to the website, Jane will try to surprise the love of his life and his first meeting with Vega will bring freshness to the show.

"At their first meet, Jane's already read Michelle Vega's personality and I promise this: you're going to like her," the website said in its spoiler report.
