MetaQuotes Software Corp., a professional developer of software applications for financial markets, has announced the combining of its MetaTrader 5 Trading Platform with FX Grid, a global inter-institutional trading network created by Integral Development Corp (IDC). The connection has been made possible through a gateway developed by MetaQuotes.

The primary benefit expected to accrue to brokers using the MetaTrader platform is access to an additional liquidity platform. Apart from being able to connect to more sources of liquidity, the connection between the MetaTrader platform and FX Grid will also allow brokers more ways to cover risk and offer traders better prices. The Integral network has already been integrated with providers like CitiFX Pro and Currenex. Meanwhile, the MetaTrader 5 platform is already connected with stock exchanges like the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange and the Singapore Mercantile Exchange.

"We have tried to offer the best Forex liquidity providers to our customers," said Gaies Chreis, COO of MetaQuotes Software Corp. in a statement, adding, "Having introduced the MetaTrader 5 Integral Gateway in our trading platform, we believe that we've given a sufficiently wide choice to our customers, and they will have no problem choosing the one that suits their needs. Now we want to focus on the MetaTrader 5 integration with exchanges."

"(The) integration of MetaTrader 5 with Integral now provides access to the broadest market available," added Harpal Sandhu, the Chief Executive of IDC, adding, "We are looking forward to expanding our success with MetaQuotes to ensure the best possible service to our customers."
