Microsoft has begun rolling out a new cumulative update for the month of April for Windows 10 Mobile users. You should notice the build version in this release is 10.0.10586.218. As mentioned by Microsoft earlier, the cumulative updates are to improve the functionality of Windows 10.

With this release, you should notice improvements in terms of reliability, performance and stability. Besides, it adds support for visual voicemails on dual SIM phones. Bluetooth connectivity has been improved, including the reliability of connecting to and staying connected with other Bluetooth devices.

As for fixes, the April update resolves a problem that cased the audio playback to get interrupted in Groove Music and other music apps when the display of the phone is turned off. There is some good news for the new Windows 10 browser, Microsoft Edge browser. It has gained support for configuring a prompt before a file download occurs and fix for the problem related to opening link from another app that would not load the web page.

In addition to all these, Microsoft has enhanced reliability for Cortana reading text messages aloud and usability improvements for Quiet Hours feature. The Windows Store has received a fix for an issue that prevented some apps from being updated and installed.

You will not more see some apps showing blank tiles after upgrade from Windows Phone 8.1. Also, there are improvements for PC connectivity via USB on some devices that were upgraded from the older 8.1 version.
