Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's wedding talks are enough to excite fans of the couple, but if latest rumours are to be believed, the couple might be planning on exchanging their vows in a dramatic ceremony. Instead of eloquent nuptials and a planned affair, rumours have it that Cyrus and Hemsworth are off to Las Vegas for a New Year Eve's wedding.

According to a report by OK magazine (via HollywoodLife), the 23-year-old singer and her Australian boyfriend "have been talking about eloping on New Year's Eve". If the whimsical plans indeed turn out to be true, the Wrecking Ball hit-maker could well walk down the aisle at the Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas.

Cyrus had previously hinted of an unconventional wedding ceremony, but definitely "eloping" did not seem to be on the pop-singer's agenda.

Considering the news has not been confirmed by the A-listers themselves, fans should take these reports with a pinch of salt.

However, as noted by the publication, this will be the first case of a Las Vegas wedding in the Cyrus family, as Miley would just be copying her parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish's 1993 nuptials.

Despite the rumours, the publication claimed that Cyrus and Hemsworth are aware that eloping will not go down well with either side of the famous families.

"But they've decided they want to do things their own way," the report said.

Meanwhile, the adorable duo, who met on the sets of the film The Last Song, recently dismissed rumours of a split. The two walked in together at Variety's 2016 Power Women luncheon in Beverly Hills, where the Party In The USA singer was honoured for her charitable works.

"[Miley] wrapped her arm around him and leaned her head against his shoulder," an insider said about the couple at the event.
