Miley Cyrrus has bagged herself a presenting gig at the Fashion Group International's Night of Stars Awards.

She has been making headlines for her controversial antics but it looks like things may finally be on the up for Miley Cyrus.

The Disney star-turned-twerking queen has landed herself a new gig as a presenter at this year's Fashion Group International's Night of Stars Awards.

The 20-year-old singer will hand out the event's most prestigious accolade - the Superstar Award - to designers Marc Jacobs and Robert Duffy.

She may not be everyone's cup of tea but Cyrus is the ideal person to present the duo with the accolade as she is their close friend.

Cyrus recently credited Jacobs for helping her with her dramatic image overhaul, which has offically killed her Hannah Montana good-girl persona.

"I work a lot with Marc Jacobs. He kind of brought me into fashion, like, when I was 16. That was when I started being around him and just learning from him," she said in a recent interview.

"He kind of let me inspire some of his pieces, and now I feel like it's just having the right people around you."

The annual ceremony is scheduled to take place at Cipriani Wall in New York on October 22

Other presenters lined up include Kate Upton, Diane von Furstenberg, Alexa Chung and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
