Contestants of the 63rd Miss World have enjoyed a turtle walk at dawn. They released olive ridley turtles into the wild and this initiative was supported by the governor of Bali. During the ceremony, the turtles were blessed by a priest wishing them a long life. While each turtle lays around 100 eggs, only 10% make it into full adulthood. Following the turtle walk, the contestants were presented with souvenirs.

The final will be held on 28 September at the Sentul International Convention Center on the outskirts of Jakarta. Meanwhile, the top 10 beach fashion contestants have been revealed and they are - France, Brazil, China, Italy, Jamaica, Ghana, Philippines, Ukraine, Moldova, Indonesia and Spain. They were selected after they took part in a poolside demonstration of 125 ways to tie a sarong.

The winners of each round will be announced at the final gala and the contestants will take part in several events such as Beach Fashion, Top Model, Sports and Fitness, Beauty with a Purpose, Talent Competition and the World Fashion Designer Award, before heading into the finale.
