LAP 71/78 - Kimi under pressure from Ricciardo, after the Australian also stopped for SS tyres

LAP 69/78 - The safety car continues to lead the way, every lap behind the safety car is one lap less for Hamilton to overtake the two ahead of him

LAP 60/78 - Kimi catching Kvyat, now only 1.3secs behind and the Finn's tyres are nine laps younger, but can he overtake him? 16 laps to go

LAP 58/78 - Kimi screams into the radio for blue flags!!!

LAP 58/78 - Some amazing driving by Verstappen to use Vettel to overtake cars, who were making way for the third place man

LAP 52/78 - Everything going as planned for Hamilton, no real battles forming anywhere on the track.

LAP 50/78 - McLaren and Jenson Button in line for their first points of the season.

LAP 50/78 - Vettel keeping pace with Rosberg, Hamilton is 9 secs clear, Kimi catching Kvyat in fourth, Bottas one place out of the points

LAP 46/78 - Perez and Button given encouragement to chase the cars ahead of them

LAP 43/78 - Alonso out of the race!! mechanical problem.

LAP 42/78 - Kimi is leaving Ricciardo behind and is now 4 secs behind the second Red Bull of Kvyat

LAP 40/78 - Rosberg now sets the fastest lap of the race, but there is no threat to Hamilton, who can pit and come out in the lead

LAP 38/78 - Rosberg stops and comes out just ahead of Vettel, but Kimi's blistering in-lap makes sure he comes out ahead of Ricciardo

LAP 37/78 - Vettel and Ricciardo come in for their stops, Kimi has to push now

LAP 35/78 - Kimi right on the tail of Ricciardo, but not going for the undercut surprisingly

LAP 33/78 - Alonso comes in for his stop and is stationery for the first 5 secs due to the penalty

LAP 32/78 - Hamilton says his tyres are feeling good as he sets yet another fastest lap

LAP 30/78 - Hamilton has now built a 9 second gap to Rosberg owing to the traffic

LAP 30/78 - Verstappen has a disastrous stop!! problem with the right rear

LAP 29/78 - Ricciardo is the first of the top ten to come in for his first stop

LAP 28/78 - Hamilton looses some time behind back markers, and so do Rosberg and Vettel. They have lost more in fact.

LAP 22/78 - Hamilton sets yet another fastest laps as he increases his lead to 4.5 seconds over Rosberg

LAP 21/78 - Overtaking action is always at a minimum at this track, all attention is now on strategy and the possibility of a safety car

LAP 20/78 - Kimi says his tyres are ok, as they come up to traffic

LAP 18/78 - Hamilton responds immediately with the fastest lap of the race.

Lot's of drivers at the back of the field switching to a two-stop strategy

LAP 17/78 - The drivers are closing up as Rosberg also pulls back some time from Hamilton. Looks like everyone is struggling with tyres and brakes

LAP 15/78 - Vettel slowly closing in on Rosberg, as Kimi does the same on Ricciardo. But on this track catching up is one thing, overtaking is another.

Hamilton complains of Brake Problems!

LAP 11/78 - Hamilton is slowly but steadily increasing his lead, while both the McLaren;s are in the points for the first time this season.

Maldonado's race is done!!

Lap 8/78 - Hamilton now 3 seconds ahead of Rosberg, as 6 seconds cover the top three. Kvyat driving a good race in fourth, comfortably keeping his more experienced teammate behind.

Lap 7/78 - Maldonado's retirement jinx continues as he is brought in to the garage with a break-by-wire failure

Lap 6/78 - Alonso has been given a five second stop/go penalty. Verstappen makes a brilliant move on the struggling Maldonado

Lewis Hamilton setting consecutive fastest laps as he leaves Rosberg behind

Massa comes in to the pits with a problem with the front end. goes on to the soft tyres. The Brazilian goes a lap down.

Hamilton leads Rosberg by eight tenths, Vettel third, Kvyat has taken Ricciardo for fourth, Kimi remains in sixth

Incident free start, but Hulkenburg put into the barriers by Alonso
