Championship leader and Honda rider Marc Marquez has been impressive during the first two practice sessions on Friday for the 2013 Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix. The 20-year-old Spaniard topped the time sheets in both Free Practice Sessions and is favourite for qualifying on Saturday.

Friday Practice Review
Marquez dominated Free Practice 1, beating Britain star and Tech 3 rider Cal Crutchlow to first place. The Spaniard continued his form later in the day, taking a 0.08s lead over his compatriot Dani Pedrosa, with a time of 1:39.502. The two Honda riders take the first two slots for the qualifying at Indianapolis.
The 20-year-old Marquez is looking to extend his lead at the top from 163 points, 16 points ahead of Pedrosa and 27 points ahead of the reigning World Champion and Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo. Yamaha rider and six time world champion Valentino Rossi is fourth with 117 points.
Meanwhile, Crutchlow, who came second in the Free Practice 1, dropped to fifth behind Lorenzo, who managed fourth with 0.048sec separating the two. The 27-year-old is fifth in the Championship table with 116 points. His compatriot and Tech 3 team-mate Bradley Smith finished eighth in the Free Practice 2.
Rossi was sixth, clocking 1:40.084 while Ducati rider Nicky Hayden managed to finish in the top ten, taking ninth spot.
