Qualifying Review

Marquez has been unstoppable in this season and the defending champion is planning to make it nine out of nine races during the German Grand Prix. The Spaniard had a brilliant run on Saturday, which saw him take pole after clocking a time of 1:20.937s.

His Honda teammate and compatriot Dani Pedrosa was 0.296s behind him and will start the Sunday's race at the Sachsenring from the second spot. German rider and LCR star Stefan Bradl was third.

Marquez, along with Pedrosa and Bradl, will lock horns for the front grid on Sunday. Forward's Aleix Espargaro had an impressive session during Free Practice 1 and Free Practice 2. However, he was unable to carry that form on Saturday, resulting him in starting the race form fourth.

Yamaha duo Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi will start the German Grand Prix from fifth and sixth place, respectively.
