Aleix Espargaro was impressive during the first practice session on Thursday at the Losail International Circuit and the Forward rider will be looking to continue his form for Free Practice 2 of the Qatar Grand Prix.

Overview

Marc Marquez won the champions in his debut season in 2013. The Honda rider will be hoping to emulate his last year's form during this edition of the MotoGP. Espargaro has been the fastest during the Free Practice 1, clocking 1:55.201s. Meanwhile, Britain star and Tech 3 rider Bradley Smith was third after he managed a time of 1:55.816s on Thursday.

Honda's Dani Pedrso was sixth while Valentino Rossi was seventh during the first practice session of the season. Lorenzo managed to finish in top 10 while Marquez was 11<sup>th.
