DJ Khaled vs. Drake

Congratulations are in order for Snapchat king, aka DJ Khaled, who has scored his first ever number one album with Major Key. The I Got The Keys producer is at the top of the US Billboard 200 chart after selling 95,000 copies in the album's first week of release.

Major Key boasts a star-studded guest list with Jay Z, Future, Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole and Nicki Minaj among the artists featuring on the 14-track record. Reacting to the news, DJ Khaled tweeted: "Fan luv we did it !!!! We have the #1 album !! And #1 single at the same dam time !!!" He later added "God is the greatest."

After 12 non-consecutive weeks at number one, Billboard's former chart-topper Drake has now been pushed to number two with his fourth album Views. According to Billboard, it is unlikely that Drizzy will reclaim the top spot next week as the Suicide Squad soundtrack is expected to claim the number one position.

Christina Grimmie posthumous releases

Late singer Christina Grimmie will be honoured throughout August with four of her new music videos set to premiere. Titled The Ballad Of Jessica Blue, the series will consist of visuals for each song on Christina's final EP Side A.
