She is known as one of the biggest divas' in the fashion world but it looks like time may have softened Naomi Campbell.

The veteran supermodel has revealed she is keen to become a mother-with or without a man in a life.

During a recent appearance at SiriusXM Radio Town Hall the 43-year-old beauty claimed that she was ready to embrace motherhood and have children.

"I do want to have children, whether I have a man or not," she told Diane von Furstenberg. " I will have it on my own."

Campbell, who has previously dated Flavio Briatore and Robert De Niro, has been single since her split from long-time love, billionaire Vladimir Doronin in 2013.

The 5ft 9ins star, who famously assaulted her personal assistant with a mobile phone, is currently promoting the second series of her modelling show, The Face.

During her candid chat with Furstenberg, she claimed that ethnic minorities were finally putting their stamp on the fashion industry.

"We are making progress on the ad campaigns," she said. "We don't want it to be a trend, we want it to be consistent.

"I also don't want to see them put us in a line in the show, like we're an act together, and it's done. That's also not very creative."
