Still no idea what to do for New Year's Eve? Not to worry, we have put together a guide to the best events, parties and fireworks in London.

Fireworks

Tickets for London's New Year's Eve fireworks display on the River Thames sold out weeks ago, but there is still a chance to see the spectacular event for free in various locations across the capital. Greenwich and Hampstead Heath are great spots, but as always, it is likely to be very busy. Click here for a guide to the best places to see the fireworks.

Vintage New Year

The Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall will welcome 2016 in retro style, with its themed Vintage New Year's Eve Party. Tickets are not cheap, but you take your pick from seven vintage nightclubs as well as a private terrace overlooking the river – with a prime view of the fireworks. You can book tickets here.

Breakfast Can Wait

Prepare for a hipster NYE with the Breakfast Can Wait NYE party at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch. Tickets for the roof-top dinner and party are now sold out but there are a few remaining tickets for the downstairs extravaganza to be snapped up. Expect confetti cannons, balloons and pop-up cocktail bars soundtracked by Maurice Fulton, Joe90 (Futureboogie), Sophie Lloyd, Amp+Deck, Beats in Abundance and more! Last few tickets available through Resident Advisor and www.breakfastcanwait.com.

Percolate's NYE party

There are a few advance tickets and 100 tickets on the door for Percolate's NYE extravaganza at Shapes in Hackney. Music from Kywald & Farrer, Floating Points, Tama Sumo and Levon Vincent until 6am, followed by an afterparty at The Pickle Factory. Click here to book tickets.

UK garage

It's not NYE without a garage event – and it doesn't get better than this party at The Big Chill House on Pentonville Road with music from the Artful Dodger and more. Find your tickets here.

Wolf of Wall Street

Expect an hedonistic night at this Wolf of Wall Street party at Hush in Mayfair, with Martinis, a grand "money can't buy" dinner and casino games. Dressing up is highly encouraged with a prize for the best-dressed. You can book tickets here.
