The first day of New York Fashion Week saw a number of celebrities, including actresses, TV personalities, models and athletes coming down the runways.

The celebrities walked the ramp in some of the hot red creations by designers as part of the Heart Truth Fall 2014 collection.

Actress Annasophia Robb presented a creation by Alice and Olivia featuring a black off-shoulder gown with red lace motif all over.

Actress Victoria Justice walked in another stunning blood-red off-shoulder gown by Oscar de la Renta. The floor-length gown featured broad patterns of sequined floral embellishments.

Television personality Giada De Laurentiis donned a chic gown featuring deep V-neckline and thigh-high slit in the front. Clinched at waist with beautiful floral motifs in black, the layered gown by Carolina Herrera featured laced back.

Actress Bella Thorne walked down the aisle in a sleek plain red gown by Badgley Mischka.

Celebrities who showcased creations other than the gown, were actress Kat Graham, Musician Joan Jett and Olympic downhill champion Lindsey Vonn.

Jett wore a monochromatic palazzo with wrapped neckline, a creation by designer Catherine Malandrino. Vonn, who walked on crutches, presents a short, body-hugging dressby Cynthia Rowley.

Graham presented a creation by Mathieu Mirano that comprised of a mini leather skirt and blouse. A leather strapless braw worn over the blouse gave sedative look to the actress.

The annual fashion week, which ends on 13 February, is expected to showcase everything from fringe to shearling to pared-down monochrome on styles, according to Reuters.

Design house giants like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein will also join hundreds of designers to present their creations for next fall on runways and showrooms across New York.
