Students dressed in bondage gear made so much noise that neighbours complained Flkr

Police called to a house discovered 250 young people dressed up in bondage gear at an "S&M - M&S" themed party.

Officers were called to a house in Jesmond, Newcastle, after noise levels got so high that neighbours complained, to find hundreds of students dressed predominantly in black underwear.

The guests were also sporting a variety of dog collars, chains, in some cases with dildos and other sex aids attached to their costumes.

The property had been converted in to an "urban jungle" featuring smoke machines, foliage, strobe lighting and big speakers. Despite the scene, no arrests were made.

A police spokesman said: "We were made aware of the party from a neighbour, and officers decided to attend.

"The occupants were asked to keep the noise down and ask people to leave because the music was very loud.

"They were spoken to, and agreed to end the party and everyone left in an orderly manner.

"There were no criminal offences disclosed. It was very noisy, with a large number of people inside."

One of the unnamed organisers of the event said: "We would do it again but we wouldn't want to upset any neighbours."
