Nick Jonas has revealed that his first kiss ever with Miley Cyrus was probably an unromantic one for the Wrecking Ball singer because of his smelly breath. The Jealous singer admitted that right before the kiss he had eaten a pizza filled with onions.

Jonas and Cyrus dated each other from 2006 until 2008 before parting ways. Currently, Cyrus is engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth, with whom she was spotted at the premiere of The Huntsman: Winter's War in Los Angeles on 11 April.

"The first person I kissed was Miley Cyrus and I kissed her outside of California Pizza Kitchen in Hollywood. Very romantic," he said during an interview with BBC Radio 1 on 13 April, according to Us Weekly. "I'd just had a pizza that had onions all over it. I'm sure that my breath smelled terrible."

When show host Nick Grimshaw asked Jonas whether or not Cyrus would remember the kiss, the 23-year-old replied: "I don't know. I'd have to ask her. But I'm sure she does — it was probably pretty potent."

In the show, the singer also played a game called Snog, Marry, Avoid where he was asked to choose between Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Kate Hudson, with whom he was previously linked romantically.

"Demi and I are really good friends so I'd marry her because you want to marry your best friend — even though it's weird to say that," Jonas said. "I watched her in one of these that she did and she said she'd marry me, so I have to pay it back. And then I guess I'd snog Kate Hudson, right, that's logical?"

Jonas previously told Complex magazine that he shared a special bond with Hudson, 36.

"Kate's incredible," he told the magazine. "We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that's beautiful. Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I'm not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She's amazing."
