An American tabloid had claimed that Australian power couple Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban are about to part ways.

According to the National Enquirer, Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise's former wife has been struggling to cope with hectic work schedules and long separations from the American Idol judge.

Nicole and Keith were married in 2006 and have two daughters. Their second daughter, Faith, was born in 2011 via surrogacy.

The magazine claims that the 46-year-old is allegedly planning to have another surrogate baby in an attempt to save her troubled marriage to the country singer.

"Keith is hoping for a son," an insider said. "And the plan is already bringing them closer together."

Adding on, the tabloid claims Kidman is more depressed because of the negative reviews of her latest movie, Grace of Monaco, where she plays the legendary American actress, Grace Kelly and the suicide of her close friend L'Wren Scott.

However, in a new interview with the Australian magazine Women's Weekly, Kidman gushed about her family life with Urban.

"If it were the choice between my family and Keith, and my career, I wouldn't even bat an eyelid," she said. ''The most important things to me are the love of our relationship and my children.''

The Paperboy star also spoke about her two adopted children - Isabella and Connor from her previous marriage to Cruise.

"They are generous, kind and hardworking," she said. "And these are traits that I love to see in my children."
