Nintendo's long-promised 3DS video application today went live in Europe.

The new application will allow 3DS users to download new videos, including Oscar's Oasis and 3D episodes of Magic Tricks -- Nintendo has promised to expand the number of videos past this with shows aimed at older gamers in the near future.

The new application is currently available for download via the console's eShop. As it stands, in addition to the magic tricks, Nintendo has clarified that the app will launch with a slew of movie trailers, music concerts and children's animations.

The news comes just after Nintendo revealed that the 3DS is continuing to under-perform, failing to meet the company's console and games sales projections.
