Overview

Norwich suffered a 2-0 defeat in their previous league fixture as James Collins and Mohamed Diame scored late goals for West Ham United at Upton Park. Chris Hughton's side have only managed to win one out of their last 13 matches in all competitions.

In their last league game at home, Norwich managed to hold Manchester City to a goalless draw. The Canaries currently sit 17th in the league table with 25 points having played 26 matches so far, just one point keeping them away from the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Spurs come into this game on the back of a 1-0 setback in the first leg of Europa League Round of 32 fixture against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk at the Dnipro-Arena last Thursday.

Jan Vertonghen was the villain for the visitors as he brought down Matheus inside the penalty area late in the second-half. Yevhen Konoplyanka made no mistake in converting the resulting penalty to give the home side the advantage going into the second leg.

In their previous league fixture, Tim Sherwood's side crushed Newcastle United by four goals to nil at St James' Park. Emmanuel Adebayor bagged a brace while Paulinho and substitute Nacer Chadli added one goal to their name.

The north Londoners are chasing a top four finish this season and currently sit fifth in the league table after 26 matches with 50 points, just three less than fourth placed Liverpool, who play Swansea City earlier on Sunday.

What Managers Say

Chris Hughton: "We had a tremendous atmosphere in the last match at Carrow Road against Manchester City. I think the supporters appreciated what we achieved that day. Everyone is very conscious that in the last few games we haven't got the results that we wanted to get, but the level of performance has been good. We want to turn performances into wins and that is very much our focus at the moment."

Tim Sherwood: "We've been good away from home and we're pleased with our form on the road. Norwich have taken some big scalps at Carrow Road and we're fully aware of that. Norwich will be determined to get points on the board and one point is fantastic against a team like Tottenham, who are very good away from home. We'll look to stop them achieving that."
