Overview

Djokovic has made it to the final of the Roland Garros on two occasions, in 2012 and 2014. However, the 28-year-old failed to get his hands on the trophy as he lost to Rafael Nadal in both those finals.

The world number one will be looking to win the tournament for the first time this year as he has managed to knock Nadal out of the competition. Djokovic made it to the last four by defeating the nine-time French Open winner in straight sets 7-5, 6-3, 6-1 in the quarter final.

Meanwhile, Murray had a slight scare in the previous fixture as he defeated David Ferrer in the quarter final clash. The British tennis star won the opening set in a tiebreaker and lost the next set to the Spaniard.

However, Murray bounced back by winning the third and the fourth set to win the match 7-6, 2-6, 7-5, 6-1 and seal a berth in the second Grand Slam event of this year. Djokovic has a massive advantage over Murray as the latter has failed to defeat him in the last seven meetings between the pair.
