A man charged with the murder of Ogarra Dixon in Brixton will today (29 June) appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court.

Shaden Cadette, 23, of Marcella Road, Brixton, was charged on 27 June with the murder of 24-year-old Dixon.

He will appear in custody at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on 29 June.

A 27-year-old man who was arrested on 22 June has been bailed to a date in late July pending further enquiries.

Detectives launched a murder investigation after Dixon was shot dead in Marcella Road. He drove there alone in his black Vauxhall Astra on 17 June.

He was seen leaving his car and walking towards a nearby block of flats and at 00.25am was reported stumbling away from his car before collapsing at the junction with Serenaders Road.

Police were called at 00.48am to reports of a seriously injured man at Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill. He was taken there by three men who have all since spoken to investigators.
